What Range Owners Ask.
What does it need at the bay?
A spot at the bay, power and Wi-Fi. No poles, foundation, trenching or overhead cameras are needed.
What about rain and heat?
Outdoor metal cabinet with a sensor rain shield, operates from -4 °F to 122 °F (-20 °C to 50 °C).
Does it work for left-handed golfers?
Yes, it supports right- and left-handed players.
What's the warranty?
GDA21 comes with a 2-year warranty.
Can I extend the warranty?
Yes, extended coverage is available.
What if a unit goes down?
Email your GOLFJOY contact. We start with remote diagnostics and get back to you within 48 hours.
How is software billed?
Software: $49 per bay per month. First 3 months free. Hardware and installation are set out in a written proposal after a site survey.
How long does installation take?
Timing is confirmed in your proposal.
Does it work with my range balls, including limited-flight balls?
Yes. GDA21 works with standard and limited-flight range balls. Set the ball type in the system settings so the readings match your balls. Limited-flight balls usually fly about 10–14% shorter, depending on the type.
Can the units stay out overnight?
Yes. GDA21 is built for outdoor use and can stay at the bay overnight. Each unit comes with a protective cover; put it on at the end of each day.
