What inspired the idea of building an indoor golf center inside Sunac Resort?
Jinan Sunac Cultural Tourism City is a large-scale destination that integrates education, culture, sports, and family leisure. We saw an opportunity—not just to offer entertainment, but to introduce a new lifestyle. Golf, especially indoor golf, aligns perfectly with this vision.
With unpredictable weather and limited outdoor course access for beginners and families, an indoor golf experience brings accessibility, flexibility, and fun to a much wider audience.
Why did you choose GOLFJOY as your simulation technology partner?
Our selection process involved a comprehensive review of numerous simulator providers. Ultimately, it became clear that our choice was about more than just hardware; it was about finding a technology partner whose vision aligned with our own ambition to create a world-class experience. The center has already been awarded several recognitions. What does this mean for your long-term vision?
For us, those titles get to the heart of what we're trying to build. They're a official recognition that we're here to educate and cultivate talent, not just provide a leisure activity. This allows us to think bigger: we can now actively structure programs to introduce the sport to a wider audience while simultaneously creating a concrete development path for young athletes—a path that we hope will lead them to university scholarships, national team programs, and beyond.
What do golfers and visitors enjoy most so far?
What really stands out is how different guests react. You see beginners captivated by the stunningly realistic courses, while serious golfers appreciate the true-to-life ball flight data. It’s not just a machine; it’s an experience that adapts—whether you're a family having fun, a tourist navigating easily in their own language, or a competitor honing your skills. Seeing such a diverse crowd all enjoying it in their own way is the best feedback we could get.
