Gaor Hall opened in one of Shanghai’s most competitive urban districts. Why did you choose Hongqiao Gubei as your location?
Hongqiao Gubei is the beating heart of Shanghai’s international lifestyle scene.
Our academy sits on Hongmei Road 2975, right across from the city’s only 9-hole urban golf course — the Hongqiao Golf Range.
It’s a neighborhood with a strong golf culture, where many residents enjoy a refined and active lifestyle.
So for us, choosing this location wasn’t just a commercial decision — it felt like a mutual attraction. The community seeks high-quality golf experiences, and we are here to deliver exactly that.
What makes your teaching philosophy and coaching team stand out?
Our strength comes from our people. Every coach on our team comes from a professional sports academy or has a competitive athletic background. This gives our teaching a unique blend of solid theory and real on-course experience.
We’ve also developed our own standardized teaching system, which we’re incredibly proud of. When combined with advanced training technologies and the GOLFJOY simulator systems we rely on daily, the improvement curve becomes much steeper for our students.
With GOLFJOY’s 4K simulators, our coaches can break down movements frame by frame, analyze club path and impact conditions with precision, and tailor training plans based on real-time data — not guesswork.

Gaor Hall spans two floors with more than 2,000 square meters of space, and we’ve shaped it into a professional yet relaxing environment. Inside, you’ll find everything from full-feature swing bays to a dedicated short-game and putting area, along with a fitness room and a comfortable space for socializing and unwinding. Our design follows a modern minimalist approach — black and white as the foundation, accented with a refreshing “oxygen green” that brings both calm and energy into the space.
The overall feeling is intentionally simple and pure, allowing golfers to stay focused while still feeling completely at ease. Many visitors tell us that the moment they walk in, it feels like stepping into a sanctuary right in the middle of the city.
You also run youth programs and competitions. What does this bring to the community?
Youth development is a crucial part of our mission.
We regularly host junior tournaments to help young players strengthen their skills, gain competitive confidence, broaden their horizons, and grow in sportsmanship.
For many families, Gaor Hall provides not only training but also long-term planning — from healthy sport development to academic and overseas application support.
We see this as investing in the next generation.
After launching such a large-scale project, what achievements or milestones are you most proud of?
I think the biggest success is seeing how the community embraced us so quickly.
Within a short time, Gaor Hall has become a place where people come not only to train, but to connect, relax, and truly enjoy golf.
Our membership grew rapidly, and our coaching programs reached full capacity sooner than expected. Parents regularly tell us how their children have grown more confident. Adult learners appreciate finally having a professional, comfortable, and social golf space in the city center.
Gaor Hall was built to be more than a training venue —
it is a pure golf social hub, a space where passion meets community.
That vision is now becoming reality.
