GAOTENG HUÌ has turned indoor golf into a social lifestyle in Shenzhen, running four large venues (Shajing, Longhua, Xixiang, Songgang) with over 40 simulators. We sent a curious—and slightly mischievous—reporter to sit down with Mr. Liu, the person steering GAOTENG’s vision, to learn how GOLFJOY fits into their plan to bring golf from “elite” to “everyday premium.”

Hi Mr. Liu,when people walk into a GAOTENG club, what feeling are you trying to give them — golf temple, cozy bar, or secret VIP clubhouse?

(Laughs) All three, depending on the hour. By day we’re training and practicing; by night we’re a lively place to eat, drink and entertain. The goal is familiarity: make golf something people do with friends and family, not something they only do once a year. That’s why our spaces mix practice bays, dining, VIP rooms and entertainment — to keep members coming back.

Nice. Now the practical stuff — you chose GOLFJOY for your simulators. What made GOLFJOY stand out when you were comparing options? Any ‘aha’ moment that sealed the deal?

Two big moments. First, players immediately noticed how the shot data matched what they felt — launch, spin, distance — which built trust. Second, our coaches could rely on consistent readings for training plans. GOLFJOY’s accuracy and stable performance were the deciding factors; when equipment is predictable, operations become easier and member satisfaction rises.

Every boss loves numbers. Can you share one measurable benefit GOLFJOY brought to GAOTENG — more bookings, longer visits, fewer maintenance headaches?

Sure. After installing GOLFJOY, we saw a clear lift in repeat bookings. Members come for lessons and stay for dinner; average session length and per-visit spend increased. Also — important for managers — maintenance calls dropped. Lower downtime means higher utilization and more predictable revenue.

Last quick one: if another club owner asked whether to partner with GOLFJOY, what would you tell them—straight talk, no marketing fluff?

Straight talk: if you want simulators that players enjoy and coaches can rely on, GOLFJOY is a safe bet. It helped us scale without constant tech headaches and gave our members a fun, data-driven experience. For anyone building a lifestyle club, that combination matters more than flashy features.
