In 2020, Huamei International Education Group partnered with former Chinese National Team captain Li Jiayun and former team member Zhang Yuyang to establish the Huamei Golf Academy. What inspired the creation of this academy?
Huamei Education has always been committed to high-quality, international, and holistic education. With that in mind, we wanted to create a platform where students can grow both academically and athletically. Golf represents discipline, focus, and strategy—values deeply aligned with our education philosophy. Through the Huamei Golf Academy, we aim to cultivate young golfers who can compete globally while maintaining academic excellence.
What is the positioning of the Huamei Golf Academy within Huamei’s educational ecosystem?
The Academy is built on the foundation of our flagship institution, Huamei English Experimental School, which is known for its international curriculum and holistic student development. Here, golf is not just a sport—it’s part of our students’ daily learning experience. We’ve integrated professional golf facilities, including a full practice range, putting greens, and most notably, advanced GOLFJOY indoor golf simulators. This allows students to train, analyze, and play in all-weather conditions, supported by world-class technology.
Why did you choose GOLFJOY as your simulator partner?
Our goal was to find technology that matched the precision and professionalism we strive for in education. GOLFJOY’s patented putting system and advanced swing analysis software are unique in the industry. It’s not just about simulation—it’s about science, learning, and measurable growth.

We implement what we call the “Three Dimensions of Growth” — comprehensive cultivation, holistic care, and all-round potential development. Students follow a structured academic curriculum alongside golf training led by certified coaches and former national players.
We also plan to identify and support outstanding junior athletes to join the Huamei Golf Team, representing the school in national and international youth tournaments. Our goal is to help every student find their own path—whether it’s earning scholarships, joining elite golf programs abroad, or simply developing a lifelong love for the sport.
What future do you envision for Huamei Golf Academy?
We see it as the cradle for China’s next generation of golf talents. With 28 years of educational experience, a world-class teaching faculty, and now the support of GOLFJOY’s intelligent simulation technology, we’re confident in nurturing a new wave of young athletes who can make their mark globally.
