| Exotics Iron-Wood -- Electrifying Performance and outstanding Agility
This one-of-a-kind design provides the maximum allowed .83 COR rebound off the face.
State-of-the-art Design & Construction
Combining the prestige and allure of distance and control, the Exotics Iron-Wood utilizes a forged, lightweight 15-3-3-3 beta titanium cupped face that is Combo-Brazed to the heavier Hypersteel
body. The cold-rolled titanium cup face is computer milled around the edge of
the cup with a high precision rim. The remaining body is precision cast to
include an interlocking channel.
The parts are chemically treated, pressed together and vacuum heat-cured for
permanent bonding. Chemical brazing eliminates the need for welding around the
face. It allows weight to be shifted from the face to the rear skirt and sole
for a lower, deeper center of gravity. The thin face titanium composition and
extra weight low and behind the sweet spot produce the hot launch associated
with titanium drivers.
Advanced Weighting Technology
Each Iron-Wood comes standard with two 6-gram weight screws. An optional weight
kit with four additional screws can be employed to custom-balance this high
performance club to your swing. Work a draw, hit a fade or simply change the
swing weight so the club feels perfectly balanced in your hands. The Exotics'
tuning ports and weight screws allow you to sculpt your shots to any desired
flight pattern. More heel weight produces a draw; more toe weight produces a
fade. With the Iron-Wood's weighting system, you'll get the superb shot shape
and performance you've always dreamed about.

Finishing Touches
The importance of shaft and grip cannot be overlooked. The connection between
golfer and hybrid is very direct. So golfers can feel every sensation, Tour Edge
incorporates a Golf Pride Dual Durometer grip and Fujikura Exotics graphite
shaft, Aldila NV 90 Hybrid graphite shaft, or Nippon 950 GH steel shaft to
deliver the ultimate in responsiveness and feel. |
