| Tour Edge Quick Launch (QL) Hybrid Iron-Woods
For more than 3 years, Tour Edge's design team has been developing the next
generation Bazooka Iron-Wood. Tour Edge recognized that any change worth making
had to produce a significant increase in performance. The new Bazooka QL
Iron-Wood does just that.
Easy to hit from any lie, the QL has the deepest center of gravity (CG) of any
Tour Edge hybrid. Its deep CG produces an extremely high moment of inertia (the
club's ability to resist twisting) giving you amazing forgiveness. Plus, with
the QL's ultra hot face due to its super-thin Hyper-Steel, you're going to hit
your iron shots 10 yards further than ever.
Elevate your iron play with the Bazooka QL Iron-Wood: it's how a hybrid should look, feel, and perform!
With the Bazooka QL Iron-Wood from Tour Edge, it's easy to be good.
Progressive Sole Width:
The QL's deep CG also comes from progressive sole width and weighting. The long
irons are more wood-like, with a heavier, wider sole. As the set progresses to
the scoring irons, the sole becomes narrower, creating a more traditional
appearance. The set's progressive sole width moves CG from a low, deep position in the long irons to a shallow, higher position in the scoring irons. The result is the ideal trajectory for each iron in the set.

Advanced Weighting Technology:
The
QL has the deepest CG we've ever created. Unlike past Tour Edge Iron-Woods, the
QL has a 15-gram tungsten sole weight. You'll hit higher, longer and more
accurate shots because this fixed weight creates a lower CG and a higher moment
of inertia (the club's ability to resist twisting).
In addition to the tungsten sole weight, the QL's thin Hyper-Steel walls allow
more weight to be placed in the sole. The result is a 120-gram sole that lowers
and deepens the CG position.
Bulge and Roll Face Technology:
The Tour Edge Bazooka QL IronWood features bulge-and-roll face technology on the #1 -
#4 IronWoods (Bulge is the horizontal radius of the face and roll is the vertical radius).
The deep CG of the long irons requires more bulge and roll, or a smaller radius. This allows them to react properly when the head rotates around its CG on off-center hits.
Bulge-and-roll technology drives the ball in the opposite direction from the curvature caused by the ball's spin, bringing your mis-hits
back to the target line for maximum forgiveness.
Aldila NVS Shaft Technology:
The QL is powered by an exclusive Aldila shaft design using their NVS platform.
The Bazooka NVS combines a low kick point with a more responsive tip design. The
result is a shaft that launches long, high iron shots like you've never
experienced before.
