| The wide-soled, perimeter weighted
PING Rapture Iron relies on strategic use of titanium, steel and tungsten to create a high-performance, multi-material iron. Careful analysis and application of each material yields forgiveness and trajectory improvements while creating a face and cavity design that produces a solid, pleasing feel and sound.
- The 17-4 stainless steel body, titanium face and tungsten toe weight are
engineered to create maximum forgiveness. The wide sole created by the
undercut cavity design positions the center of gravity further back to improve
launch angles for higher, lower spinning shots that resist ballooning and land
softly.

- The lightweight titanium face saves 25 grams of weight that is
re-distributed in the form of stainless steel and tungsten to the perimeter of
the irons for added forgiveness. The thickness of the titanium and the softer
compound of the Custom Tuning Port Insert stabilize the face for a solid feel
and sound.
- Approximately 20 grams of mass is positioned on the toe to extend the
perimeter weighting for added forgiveness. The high-density tungsten aids in
squaring the face at impact for accuracy and consistency.

- Similar to the G5/i5, the softer, large Custom-Tuning Port [CTP] helps
stabilize the face by maximizing the surface area it covers. This, along with
a new, softer compound, gives the Rapture titanium face iron exceptional feel
and sound.
- Fine satin finish gives the club a deep, rich look of exceptional
aesthetics while providing exceptional durability. The “polished” back weight
and graphics badge add to the appeal of the club.
- Patented flat top hosel and hosel Notch is designed to reduce stress and improve feel, while the hosel notch controls the bend point for precise loft and lie adjustments.
