Nike SasQuatch Sumo Driver

Having won the Golf Digest Editor's Choice for drivers in 2006, it was no doubt a challenge to improve on the original all titanium SasQuatch driver. What made the original great, makes the new SasQuatach SUMO even better - a new Nike PowerBow geometry results in a higher MOI. Therefore, SasQuatch SUMO delivers even more distance and forgiveness.
SUper MOment of Inertia (SUMO): Higher MOI than original SasQuatch driver for a greater forgiveness and increased distance.
The SasQuatch SUMO, which features an all-titanium head, incorporates the
same design evolution of the SasQuatch PowerBow and SasQuatchMax Back CG,
raising its new super MOI to 4950, the highest in an all-titanium driver. Nike
Golf's club wizard Tom Stites' new design has created the ideal ratio between
the width of the clubface and the depth of the club head. As with the SQ SUMO²,
the SQ SUMO geometry pushes the breadth-to-face length ratio up, resulting in a
larger, more forgiving sweet spot.
- New Nike PowerBow design:
Larger and lower Nike PowerBow moves CG lower and further back and increases MOI
- SUper MOment of Inertia (SUMO):
Higher MOI than original SasQuatch driver at 4950 g cm² vs. original at 4650 g
cm² for greater forgiveness and increased distance.
- Max Back CG:
SasQuatch's larger and lower Nike PowerBow geometry moves the CG further back and lower than the original SasQuatch driver
