The addition of an elastomer compound insert within the clubhead helps to deaden vibration at impact, creating a more efficient energy transfer. To make it easier to get the ball airborne and to facilitate a more penetrating ball flight, Bridgestone Golf utilizes a tungsten weight in the sole of the club to lower the center of gravity, producing more accurate high trajectory shots.
